ABOUT PROJECT ASSIST GLOBAL

You are accountable for something
that is not fully in your control.

You approved the programme. You answer to the board. Somewhere between the programme and the board, something is getting lost. Anita Appiah founded PAGL in 2014 to close that gap.

FOUNDER

Anita Appiah.

#1 Programme Health & Transformation Delivery Specialist in Accra.

Anita has more than 20 years of programme delivery experience across the UK, Qatar and Ghana. Her career began in IT and moved into complex programmes, including finance, telecoms and government-linked work.

Returning to Ghana meant relearning how decisions actually get made and how information actually moves. Governance structures on paper were not enough. Anita calls that understanding “the Ghana way”, and considers relearning Ghana one of her biggest achievements.

PAGL is based in Accra, supporting leaders who need to connect strategic ambition with the practical work of making change happen.

The approach is direct: understand the programme reality, make ownership clear and keep the business outcome in view.

Clarity is useful
when it leads
to action.

The most expensive thing an organisation can do is let a failing programme keep running.

The cost of delay grows while information goes unacted on. PAGL exists to close the gap between what is happening in a programme and what reaches the people with the authority to act.

Where independent assurance is needed, we establish a separate remit so the assessment can challenge the delivery picture with clarity.

Questions built from delivery experience.

The Programme Health Audit grew from recurring questions about reporting, governance and the gap between programme activity and business outcomes. Its 24 questions give leaders a structured starting point for a closer conversation.

Context matters.

Anita also founded The Enclave, a separate executive workspace business in East Legon, Accra. It shares a belief in the importance of the environment in which people work and make decisions.
